Hey Wilkinsburg, this month the Sun is highlighting some fantastic initiatives that are bringing our community together.
The WCDC Youth Initiative is now accepting applications for mini grants to organizations that work with local youth. You can see some of the results from last year’s grants in this issue and see how investing in youth is making a difference in Wilkinsburg.
And speaking of making a difference, have you heard about the Great American Clean Up? It’s a fantastic event where residents band together to help beautify the Borough and keep our town looking its best. Whether it’s picking up litter, planting flowers, or painting over graffiti, there are plenty of ways to get involved and make a difference in our community. We love seeing Wilkinsburg come together like this, and we’re happy to share information on how you can get involved.
