Kathleen Rawlins to Head Red Cross Chapter in North

Kathleen Rawlins, a Wilkinsburg resident, has been named the new Executive Director of the American Red Cross Beaver-Lawrence Chapter. In her new role, Rawlins will manage all fundraising efforts and financial matters for the local Red Cross, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the chapter.
“I am looking forward to working with the Red Cross as we help the people of Beaver and Lawrence counties prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies,” said Rawlins.
Rawlins brings 15 years of experience working at nonprofit organizations throughout the region with her to the Red Cross.
Most recently she worked as Deputy Director of Operations and Development for Strength, Inc., a Wilkinsburg-based nonprofit offering non-traditional, spiritually based services designed to empower people and communities.
Rawlins holds a Bachelor of Arts in business management and business communications from Carlow College and master of Science degree in nonprofit management from Robert Morris University.
Rawlins will relocate to Beaver Falls to assume her work in Beaver County.
