WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FROM THE BOROUGH

* There will be no garbage or recycling pick up due to safety concerns for the workers, possibly for the next week. When pickup resumes it will be announced on the Borough website.

* Abandoned vehicles are being towed to get them out of the way of snow plows and general traffic. If your vehicle is towed, look for
it in the lot on Wallace Avenue near the School Administration Building.

* The Department of Public Works continues to work around the clock to remove snow. All reported down trees have
been removed from roadways, and all reported downed wires have been removed. Report any new down wires or trees
to 911.

* The Borough will continue to treat all roads and plow back wherever possible. This is the most severe
snow event in over 15 years and, with a small crew and a lot of road miles to cover, it will take some time. Crews were
out all day/night Friday, into Saturday. They took a break Saturday evening and were back to work Sunday morning.

* With power having been restored to all Wilkinsburg-Penn Joint Water Authority facilities, residents no longer
need to be concerned with conserving water.
